General hotel policy

Guest Responsibility

The guest is personally responsible for full payment of their invoice. This responsibility applies even if the reservation is made in the name of another person, company, or association, should that party fail to pay all or part of the amounts due.

The guest is also responsible for any loss, damage, or deterioration to the suite and its equipment occurring between arrival and departure.

Use of Facilities and Liability

The guest acknowledges that use of all hotel facilities is at their own risk.

Hôtel Expérience – Quartier des marinas cannot be held liable for:

  • damage to vehicles parked on the property;
  • injuries or accidents occurring on the premises;
  • loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings.

We strongly recommend that valuables not be left in vehicles. The hotel declines all responsibility in this regard, except in cases of proven gross negligence, in accordance with applicable laws.

Credit Card and Pre-Authorization

A pre-authorization will be placed on the guest’s credit card for:

  • the balance of the stay;
  • an additional pre-authorization of $200 per stay, per suite, to cover potential incidental charges.

The guest understands that it may take 7 to 10 business days after departure for their bank to release the pre-authorized amounts.

A valid credit card is required to guarantee all reservations. This card may be pre-authorized prior to arrival to verify its validity.

Guests agree to comply with the property’s house rules. Any inappropriate behaviour, disturbance, damage, or failure to follow these rules may result in:

  • additional charges;
  • immediate eviction without refund, in accordance with applicable laws.

Specific Conditions

  • Registered guests must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., to ensure the comfort and rest of all guests.
  • Gatherings, parties, or events are not permitted in the suites or in common areas.

  • Check-in: from 4:00 p.m
  • Check-out: by 11:00 a.m.

Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

The maximum number of occupants permitted per suite must be respected. Any additional, undeclared guests may result in extra charges or cancellation of the stay without refund.

 

Additional cleaning fees may apply if the suite requires:

  • extensive cleaning;
  • repairs following departure.

To ensure a healthy, safe, and comfortable environment, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited within the property.

This prohibition applies, without limitation, to:

  • cigarettes;
  • tobacco in all forms;
  • vaping devices and electronic cigarettes;
  • cannabis (medical or recreational);
  • cigars and pipes;
  • any substance producing smoke, vapour, or emissions.

This policy applies to:

  • all suites;
  • balconies;
  • the outdoor terrace;
  • all interior areas of the hotel.

Any violation may result in:

  • cleaning and deodorization fees;
  • minimum charges of $250, with additional costs for any damages incurred;
  • immediate cancellation of the stay without refund, in accordance with applicable laws.

All reservations imply full acceptance of this policy.

Hôtel Expérience – Quartier des marinas welcomes dogs under specific conditions to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.

  • Only dogs are permitted.
  • No weight or breed restrictions apply.
  • A maximum of one (1) dog per suite is allowed.
  • Certain exceptions may be granted with prior approval.

Authorized Floors

Dogs are permitted only in suites located on the 1st and 2nd floors.
No exceptions will be granted for other floors.

Applicable Fees

  • No fee applies when the reservation is made directly through the hotel’s website.
  • For reservations made via third-party platforms, a fee of $30 per animal, per stay, plus applicable taxes, will be added.

Dog Presence in the Suite

  • Dogs may not be left alone in the suite at any time during the stay.
  • Failure to comply may result in additional charges or cancellation of the stay without refund.

Cleanliness and Responsibility

  • Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times outside the suite.
  • Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of in outdoor trash bins.
  • The guest is fully responsible for their dog.
  • Any property damage, noise disturbance, or complaints from other guests may result in additional charges billed to the suite.

Acceptance of Conditions – Stay with a Dog

A dog stay rules and conditions form will be provided upon arrival and must be accepted by the guest.
The hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay without refund in the event of non-compliance with these conditions.

Reservations may be cancelled free of charge up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the arrival date, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.

Any cancellation made after this period will result in a charge equivalent to one (1) night, plus applicable taxes.
In the event of a no-show, the full stay will be charged.

Reservations via Third-Party Platforms

Cancellation policies may vary depending on booking platforms and travel agencies.
It is the guest’s responsibility to review the applicable conditions on the platform used.

Non-Refundable Rates

Certain promotional offers or special rates may be non-refundable and non-modifiable.
These conditions are clearly indicated prior to booking confirmation.

Reservation Modifications

Any request for modification (dates, suite type, number of guests) is subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment.
